Where do you store your toothbrush?

It’s important to store and clean your toothbrush properly so not to allow bacteria to multiply and the toothbrush to wear away faster than needed.

Follow these steps on proper toothbrush storage and cleaning:

  1. Rinse your brush or brush head thoroughly under the tap after each use removes debris from the bristles
  2. Soak your brush in antibacterial mouthwash after use to help keep bacteria at bay
  3. Change your brush or brush head every 3 months as the bristles become flat and ineffective after too much ware
  4. Store your brush in an open air container and not a sealed one. Wet toothbrushes in sealed environments are excellent areas for bacteria to breed

Never share your toothbrush and try not to store your brush in the same container as others
